Our Real Pop Up Wedding
WOW! Last night was our first Pop Up wedding. Leah and Michael looked fantastic and had an amazing turnout of friends, press and supporters participating in the celebration. What a lucky couple they are. Amongst other services, the couple received matching diamond rings (via the Wedding Library) with over 230 diamonds. Martha Stewart Weddings Darcy Miller and her stellar team styling the event. Mel Barlow donated her priceless photographic services and boundless positive energy. Milk & Honey's video skills on hand to preserve the moment. We loved Glazier Group's delicious hors d'oeuvres, servers and spiked lemonade. And of course, Pommery Pops provided the pink (of course!) champagne.
The bride wore Amsale's "Ally" dress made just for her and generously donated by the company. Her "Elena" birdcage veil is by Bride's Head Revisited. Hair and makeup were by Butterfly Salon -- Leah looked beautiful! Katie Berry of Martha Stewart Weddings labored over the intricate paper bouquet and boutonniere. Lela Rose provided the "something blue" shoes.A close-up of the bouquet.
Darcy showing off the latest issue of her magazine, on newstands soon -- our chapel is her Pop Up wedding story come to life. The cake, made by Cheryl Kleinman, and decorated by Shira Savada of Martha Stewart Weddings. Cheryl made red velvet cupcakes for the guests to eat -- this cake will be on view at the Chapel for the rest of the week.
Bryn of Paperfinger created the sweet signage, the Pommery Pops matched the decor perfectly! The Martha Stewart team filled these branded boxes with pink and white gumballs. Available at Michael's craft stores.

Martha Stewart's Pop Up Chapel
It's a tease. The window of the Martha Stewart Weddings Pop Up Chapel is just a taste of the treats inside. For the finished product you'll have to wait for photos of our real bride and groom. In the meantime, here are some working pictures of this week's activities.

Brooklyn's Bridal Beauty Bar
Oh yes we're doing cute things out in Brooklyn's Pop Up Chapel this weekend. First, bring your dad to see our special screenings of Father of the Bride on Sunday. Laugh and cry with fellow brides and dads while munching on fresh popcorn and sipping Boylan sodas. Now that's a cool Father's Day. Screenings at noon, 2pm and 4pm.
Going to brunch with Dad instead? Ok, come by on Saturday from 2-5 for a complimentary manicure courtesy of Dashing Diva. I like it!
Still looking for a gown? We're packing in tons of selections by Thread, Coren Moore and the famous little white dresses by Amsale. Call for an appointment to try on. Loads of bridesmaids styles are available to try on too!
More diamonds than rhinestones? Come by Saturday all day to try on Adorn Brides amazing fine jewelry rentals. White and Warren's cashmere wraps (in any color) are indispensible.
And we have a especially good humor for those of you stopping by Saturday afternoon. This amazing old fashioned truck by Gold Coast Ice Cream will be spreading the ice cream love. Stop by for a taste!

Our Pop Up logo on cocktail napkins -- we love the way they turned out! (It's a great idea to maximize custom art -- available at the Wedding Library).
