Tokens of Our Affection

The lovely ladies from Gifts for the Good Life made these wonderful little token cookies as press favors for our Brooklyn Pop-Up. As they say in their lovely story tucked inside, when you're riding the L train to Williamsburg, "...keep your eyes wide open, you never know who might be sitting across from you..."
These little pouches held three little cookie "tokens"
Here's the little story that's tucked inside..."You could say that our love started underground, precisely on the L train on a rainy night returning from the city. Earbuds firmly in place, I was singing to Tom Waits and minding my own business. Her beautiful face was buried in one of those sappy novels she inexplicably loses herself in, literally. An unexpected service stop caused both to look up and stop in our tracks.

If it hadn't been for this city, the train, the rain, kismet, and you, we might not be here. And this is a stop we wouldn't miss for the world.

Please accept these "tokens" of our affection, as a sweet treat for your ride home. If you find yourself humming 'Downtown Train' quiety to yourself, keep your eyes wide open, you never know who might be sitting across from you".

Buzz Bonus: Don't forget to stop by the Pop-Up for a little token of our affection in liquid form -- from 6pm on tonight!
