The Savvy Bride

I came across The Savvy Wedding while reading a favorite foodie site called Chow (Chowhound). I find the advice clever and useful and recommend perusing the articles if you are looking for solid advice on good, drinks, cake and gifts.

There is also a fantastic video on Shinmin Li, the owner of I Dream of Cake in San Francisco. It really highlights the artistry and devotion of many wedding artisans, particularly bakers. Enjoy!

Also, check out www.TheSavvyBride.com - it features videos of pre-qualified wedding and event professionals so you can "meet" them online. It's a really cool concept. The site just launched in Charlotte, NC.
